Subject: Two things

1) Please see my conversation with Mr. Reichle below. Do you think you could hit a
couple of these kids up to see if they would be interested in wrestling?
2) Have you decided if you are going with the FFA on the 31 st? I would like to come and
observe you for that day if possible. If that is not possible, we need to find another
day.
Thanks,

I was really hoping to get 8 hours in tomorrow. Will Mr. Reichle be around at all tomorrow
afternoon, that I could possibly shadow him? Otherwise do you have anything that needs to
get done, or that I could look at for you to get the hours needed?
Thanks, looking forward to tomorrow.

Kent, We do get out of school at 1:30 which makes for a shorter day. On a personal note I/we
have a close family friend who died of cancer yesterday at age 49 so I have to drive to Yankton
and retrieve two of my grandkids so my adult children can make arrangements to be with our
family Friday night at the funeral home and Saturday at the Funeral. So that is the main reason
I will be trying to get out of here by noon. Mr. Reichle is here in the afternoon but only for a
couple of hours and you can email him to see if that would work for you. However continue on
this email and let me know if this basic agenda will work for you?
I will be having a teacher/admin meeting at 7:45 ( I want you to join me) and I will be here in
my office at 7:00 a.m. as I am every morning and you are welcome to come at that time of the
day and you can spend the day here until 1:30 in my office observing the coming and goings of
the day in an administrative office setting. That in itself is a learning experience and you are
welcome to use my computer to do any work you wish to door bring your own computer. In
a sense you could act as a SUB in my absence-----walk the halls, step into a classroom, meet
with Mr. Reichle and make casual observations ( I can prep my teachers in the morning that you
may want to do some observations of classrooms--- when you attend my morning meeting
they would welcome that)and I believe that would be a great experience for you to reflect
on. Lincoln Robinson (At Risk coordinator) and Allen DeVos (Teacher/Sped-ed. will deal with
any behavior issues in my absence and you are welcome to be involved as an observer and an
assistant in thos----- if you wish.
ALSO --- you and I will be involved in our administration meeting with Supt. Moore and
Elementary Principal Mrs. Weiseusually from 9:00 to 11:30.
You let me If you think this will work-----Please know that I am a REAL working administrator
and not your normal politically correct by the book Principal. I am a common sense guy who
sees what needs to get done and does it without a lot of flash or importance put on myself as
the GUY who has to be seen with the Title. With that said I think you will have a good field
experience with this set up----------- this will give you approximately a 7 hour day from 7:00 to
say 2:00 by the time the day ends. As far as I am concerned that is close enough to 8 hours if
you need me to verify anything.
SBruder

This is absolutely what I was looking for. I will take you up on all of those ideas. If you are ok
with it, I will be there from 7 am to 3 pm to account for the 8 hour day. Sounds ok?
Thanks for your cooperation.
