ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Toyota Motor Corporation was first established in

Japan in 1937 by Kiichiro Toyoda. He invented the
Automatic Loom in 1929, which weaves textiles
together electrically rather than by hand; this new
invention revolutionized the auto-motor industry.
The company started in 1935 as Toyota first came to
the U.S. from Japan in 1957, and they opened their
first US dealership in Hollywood, California. Toyota
went on to become the #2 automotive company in
the US in 2007 becoming wildly popular for its
safety features and polished look.

ADVANTAGES AGAINST COMPETITORS

Honda:
The Toyota Corolla (an equivalent model to the Honda
Civic) provides more advanced heating systems for the
winter and has a wider and spacious interior which can
comfortably accommodate more people. The Corolla also
proves to be more efficient as its gas mileage (both city
and highway) is considerably higher than the Honda
Civic.
Nissan:
Toyota cars in general are much more conventional as
Nissans have had a reputation of being described as
narrow and small. Toyota provides far better advanced
computer systems and interior additions than the Nissan.
Honda cars are more aerodynamically sound thus
providing more fuel efficient cars than Nissan.

PRAISE

Instead of responding to trends, fads, and quarterly numbers,

Toyota looks far down the road and tries to develop products
that will resonate for a long time.

Toyota can move a product to market faster than almost all of

its competitors.
