Assessment: I will assess students on whether or not they are able to create 3D shapes
with guidance by how their poppies turn out.
I will assess whether or not students understand the importance of Remembrance Day
by how they respond to the story and to making their poppies. I will ask them at the
end of the lesson what they are going to do with their poppies.
Modification: We may only do one poppy if it is taking students a long time to finish
one. However, if they do it quickly, we will do 2.
Extra Activity: Students will work on their posters until the end of the day or can
choose a Remembrance Day book to read if they get done early.
