"Deadliest Side Effect of Marijuana." Narconon Drug Detox Rehab Program for Drug
Addiction and Abuse Is The Road Out. N.p., n.d. Web. 16 Oct. 2014.
This article titled Deadliest Side Effect of Marijuana argues about how medical marijuana is a
deadly and dangerous drug and is misled by mostly everybody in todays society. The point of
this article is to inform people that marijuana is still a dangerous drug and to change the view of
how we see it. This article mentions how marijuana is still a schedule one drug according to the
Federal Drug Administration along with heroin and LSD. Another topic this article goes over is
why people seeks it so much and according to the author it is only for the one compound in
marijuana we call THC. I believe this article is mainly trying to bad talk marijuana. This article
focuses on personal beliefs and Federal laws that were made when little was known about
marijuana.
I believe this source is helpful to those who do not like marijuana only because it says nothing
but negative and bias things about the plant. I could not see this being a credible source for me to
use only because the author writes a lot about personal beliefs and how most of Americans are
wrong. The one piece of credible and reliable information was when the author mentions the

Federal Law marijuana is under. The goal of this source is to inform readers about marijuana in a
negative way and to keep it from childrens hands.
The article I read was not useful to me or for my research. I could not use his or her opioins on a
piece of writing. My message is that medical marijuana is good and should not be frowned upon
and I found nothing to support my argument in this article. The way I can use this source in my
research is by finding the schedule that this drug is on and what that schedule means. This article
has not changed my thoughts on marijuana or the use of it in todays society.

Gupta, Dr. Sanjay. "Why I Changed My Mind on Weed." CNN. Cable News Network, 01 Jan.
1970. Web. 15 Oct. 2014.
This article is about an author that recently researched marijuana and its medical history.
Its arguments include the state of marijuana under Federal Law and the care of people with
illnesses. I believe this authors points are to inform people that his opinion on medical marijuana
has recently been change and how medical marijuana can be used as a medicine. Some topics he
covers are personal opinions, Federal Law, risk of abuse, and medical properties of marijuana. I
loved this article and it made me have faith in people that do not know the real truth about
marijuana. This man changed his mind for the better and to hopefully educate those that still
think marijuana has no medical value.
This article is a very useful source for me to use because it shows how this man having
no faith in medical marijuana then to have his mind changed completely after researching more,
getting passed all the negative articles about marijuana. This article is much different from my
other articles I have researched. It is different because it actually shows someone with a changed

perspective and also gives great facts on how medical marijuana can help people. This article is
very reliable but it is bias slightly. This article is biased because this man was against marijuana
and then had his mind changed to think positively towards marijuana. I believe the goal of this
article is to inform the reader that marijuana is nothing to think negatively about, it does have
medical properties and should be utilized for that.
This article was very useful in the sense of showing how someone can be told false
information yet find out the real truth about marijuana. This helps shape my argument because I
have a doctor having his mind changed about marijuana and its medical properties. I can easily
use this for my research project by showing this as an example on how people are told false
statements and will believe anything they hear, even if it is a doctor. This has made me want to
share the knowledge of this plant to those that dont know about it. This will help people get to
the treatment they need to beat these terrible illnesses.

"Medical Marijuana." Access for Patients. N.p., n.d. Web. 14 Oct. 2014.
This article argues that most people suffering from certain illnesses benefit heavily by
using marijuana and it is difficult for some people to get this help they need. The point of this
article is to help get more states to legalize medical marijuana for those in need of its curing
properties. This article covers illnesses such as AIDS, cancer and glaucoma and how marijuana
helps the effects of these illnesses. I would say that this article is very useful and inspirational for
readers.
This is a great source to pull information from and also to learn more on how marijuana
can be used for a medicine and not a drug. I find this source to be very useful in my research and

furthering my knowledge on how people are suffering because marijuana is not legal for all U.S.
citizens that truly need it. This is a great source to put along with my others because it is giving
hard facts and it is going along with my beliefs that marijuana is and can be a lifesaver. I see this
source as a non-bias article. Although there is not much argument on if marijuana is good or bad
it talks greatly in facts and logic. The goal of this article is to inform the reader that there are
people that need marijuana in the U.S yet they have no access to it.
This source is very useful to me in building my research for my next assignment and I
believe others could see it being very useful as well. This article helps me shape my argument by
showing people that medical marijuana is useful in helping people with serious illnesses. This
article has given me more energy to go forth with my beliefs for helping people with serious
illnesses and standing up for medical marijuana.
"Medical Marijuana ProCon.org." ProConorg Headlines. N.p., 28 Aug. 2009. Web. 14 Oct.
2014.
This article published by Medical Marijuana ProCon.org is mainly about the pros and
cons of how to use medical marijuana and also the effects it has. The main arguments of this
article are showing the positive and negative sides of smoking, vaporizing, and eating marijuana.
There could be many ways one sees the point of this article but in my view I feel the author was
simply trying to inform the readers about medical marijuana and how to safely consume it. This
article mentions all ways to consume marijuana and all the different products marijuana can
produce, such as hash oil, butter, tincture, and also the plant itself. This article was full of great
facts and things I could use in my research for future assignments.

This article covered a great source of information for anyone curious about medical
marijuana or how marijuana is used. This source along with most of my other sources have been
great in presenting great useful information that can be used for any future presentation or piece
of writing. This article was nowhere near bias. The article had facts about the positive and
negative side of medical marijuana therefor I feel this article was mainly about getting facts to
people interested in learning about marijuana.
This article helps me in my research because it has countless facts and different points of
view and it is one of the articles I plan on using for my research project. This article was very
useful and has confirmed my knowledge of medical marijuana by giving details on how medical
marijuana can be lifesaving yet if used wrong cannot be as good for you.

Memoli, Michael A. "Governors Petition DEA to Reclassify Medical Marijuana." Los Angeles
Times. Los Angeles Times, 30 Nov. 2011. Web. 16 Oct. 2014.
This article is arguing that marijuana should not be under the category of a schedule one
drug and apposing that the Federal Government should reinstate it as a schedule two drug. A
schedule one drug means that it is a drug that has no medical value to the United States. A
schedule two drug mean that it is a drug that can have some medical properties. The point of this
article is to inform the reader that two governors went to the Federal Government to try to
convince them to reinstate marijuana as a schedule two drug. I would say this article is very
informational in regards to updating Americans on the status of medical marijuana and how the
Federal Government sees it.

This source is very useful to the person that is trying to stay updated on political facts and
medical marijuana. I find this source to be non-bias and full of good informational facts on the
state of marijuana under the Federal Law. Even though this article was writing in 2011 it is still a
very reliable source of information. It shows us that people of this country are see potential in
this plant and are standing up to the Federal Government. The goal of this article is to inform
readers that the Federal Government could consider moving marijuana to the schedule two
category.
This source was helpful to me by giving me this information about reinstated marijuana
and will help me in my later research. This article helps shape my argument by showing that
people could change their mind and see things for what they are such as marijuana. The article
states that people are going to the Federal Government asking for this drug to be looked at and
assessed again. I can use this research in my article by saying that more and more people are
starting to consider marijuana as a medicine and could one day be legal under Federal Law.

"NORML.org - Working to Reform Marijuana Laws." NORML.org - Working to Reform

Marijuana Laws. N.p., n.d. Web. 16 Oct. 2014.
This informational article is mainly arguing that marijuana can relief pain and syptoms
casued by certain illnesses. The article also argues that marijuana is safe to consume. The point I
feel this author was trying to make is that marijuana is a medicine that can be used for a ranged
of illnesses from MRSA to epilepsy. Some topics that are covered in this article include the
medical uses for marijuana, the safety profile of medical marijuana and also how to effectively

use it. This article is very educational and helpful to those researching marijuana. The article has
a good range of information ranging from diseases it helps to the history of the plant.
This article is very useful to me because it states so much good information about
marijuana and the medical properties of this plant. This article has a much wider range of
information than my other articles yet it is a very good article to pull info from. This article has
very reliable statements and views on marijuana and is a non-bias article. The author simply
states facts about marijuana and how it can help many people. I feel the goal of this article is to
show the reader that marijuana can be used for medical use and it has been for many centuries.
This article is useful for me because it helps me put more information about the history of
marijuana in my research. This article will help me shape my work into a factual, realistic piece
of writing. I can use this research in my project by using the history stated in this article and also
all the amazing facts this article gives about marijuana.

"23 Legal Medical Marijuana States and DC - Medical Marijuana - ProCon.org." ProConorg
Headlines. N.p., n.d. Web. 14 Oct. 2014.
The article 23 Legal Medical Marijuana States and DC covers all states in the United
States that allow Medical Marijuana and gives the regulations of its use. The main objective of
this article is to let the readers know about the laws in which these states have put on medical
marijuana. This article gives great information on when these states legalized medical marijuana
and the laws the state officials have put forth on this plant. This article is about informing the
readers and giving them knowledge about the states that are for medical marijuana which happen
to be almost half of all the US.

If I was evaluating this source for others to use I would say it would be a great source to
use. This article has countless laws and regulations on medical marijuana and these could be very
useful to anybody researching medical marijuana or patients of marijuana that need to know
where other states allow it. This source is very non-bias and is very reliable, it gives only facts
and does not mention any personal beliefs or thoughts. I believe the goal of this article is to let
readers know that we have almost half of the U.S. for the use of medical marijuana and it gives
you all the facts and laws behind each state.
This source has helped me very much in my research and will be used in future projects.
This helps shape my argument by helping me know all the laws of every state that allows
medical marijuana. It also helps my argument that marijuana is nothing to be scared of and needs
to be researched and trusted.

24, March. "Medical Marijuana Eases Some MS Symptoms, Neurologists Report." Los Angeles
Times. Los Angeles Times, 24 Mar. 2014. Web. 16 Oct. 2014.
This article focuses mainly on MS and how marijuana can effectively help the people
suffering from it. Another topic it covers is how doctors are now telling patients suffering from
MS that medical marijuana can be useful for them. The point of this article is to inform the
public that marijuana can be used as a medicine for MS and that doctors are now agreeing with
that statement. This article is about informing people with MS that they can look to marijuana for
symptom relief.
This is a very useful article for someone to use in their research. It is useful to me
because it states that medical marijuana can be used for yet another illness. This article is much

shorter than my other articles but has many facts and useful arguments. This information is very
reliable and credible, it does not state opinions or false facts about this plant. This article is also
non-bias and does not discriminate against either side. The goal of this article is to inform and
show people that this plant is not a drug and can be used to help countless illnesses such as MS.
This article was useful to me and will help shape my argument by giving me more facts
on how marijuana can help ill people. I can use this source for my research project because it
talks mainly of what I am trying to tell my readers and that is that marijuana is not this scary
drug the Federal Government states it to be.
