Assignment: You will be assigned a key Founding Father who contributed to the creation and implementation
of the Constitution. You will create a magazine cover that displays why your Founding Father should be
considered the most important Founding Father, or the Founding Father of the Year!

After your complete your research about your Founding Father, you will put together your magazine cover.
You may EITHER hand draw the cover OR use a website to assemble your cover.

What must I do and how much is it worth? (40 points)
Complete the Research Guide (10 points)
o You may use databases and reliable sites on google (NO WIKIPEDIA)
o Record the website you use to answer the questions on the Research Guide
Create a magazine cover with a visual of your Founding Father (10 points)
Include the titles of at least THREE articles about your Founding Father on the cover (10 points)
o Magazines advertise for articles in the magazine issue by placing the article titles on the front
cover. For your project, think about the articles that could be in your magazine about your
Founding Father and put those article titles on the front cover.
o On a separate page, list the titles of your articles and summarize the content of the article in 1-2
sentences.
Write ONE paragraph (5-6 sentences) explaining what your Founding Father contributed to America
and why he is important in American history. (10 points)
