Reintroducing Extinct Animals

Bringing back extinct animals, should we do it? Scientists are asking that
exact question due to their new opportunity to bring back extinct animals or
bringing them back to their habitat. My opinion on the matter is that we should. It
could be helpful to other animals. Plus it can restore an ecosystem. Also it might be
helpful to other animals.
To begin with, by reintroducing the animals we could help to an ecosystem.
As we saw with the wolves from Yellowstone, the whole ecosystem went downhill
when we took the wolves away due to complaints. Yet when they brought them
back everything got better. According to National Geographic, when the wolves
were brought back the whole environment was uplifted, animals came back so did
some flora and fauna that went away due to the wolves leaving. Although the park
has never restored to its former glory the park was still in better condition than
before. That is how it could be helpful to the environment.
My second point of view on the matter is that it can restore an ecosystem.
Going back to the wolves at Yellowstone, the parks flora and fauna was in better
condition than before the wolves had been brought back. Although the park was
never restored to its former glory, and we werent expecting it to be, it looked
better than we could imagine. According to Lisa Baril, a wildlife biologist, the
parks snow pack was better the year we brought them back. That is how it can
restore an ecosystem.
My last statement on the topic is that it could help other animals too. Back to
Yellowstone again, when the wolves came back so did other animals. Like the
bears, frogs, eagles, and more. Also, according to www.dogonews.com, The
beavers got their dens back because elk were not eating or ruining them. The elk
population went down to which helped the animals survive easier. That is how it
could help other animals.
In conclusion we should bring back the animals. It can help the
environment. It could help restore the ecosystem. Also it could help other animals.
Some people say we dont know how the experiment will react. I dont get why

though, we have done this before and as you can see it left a very positive
reinforcement on the environment and proven that it will works and that it helps
the environment. This is why we should reintroduce the animals.
