Windows OS Template must be added under host

Open host
Go to Items under Windows OS Template

Create new item

Write service_state[service name].

In this example wuauserv stands for "Windows Update" service
Leave other fields to their default state. Click save.

Go to trigers

Click create trigger

Write {blahblah:service_state[wuauserv].last(0)}#0.
#0 means not running. blahblah stands for real hostname of computer.

Now you can test it.

Turn off windows update service at client computer.

Wait a minute and you can see at the dashboard the bessage apears
