Parliamentary Government: a system of government having the real executive
power vested in a cabinet composed of members of the legislature who are
individually and collectively responsible o the legislature. May have a Prime Minister
elected by the legislature.
In other words, people vote for legislators who come from many different
political parties. The political party in the legislature (parliament who has the most
members gets to select an executive called the "prime minister". The "prime
minister" must listen to members of parliament to make decisions since he/she was
chosen from them.
Presidential Government: A system of government in which the president is
constitutionally independent of the legislature.
In other words people vote for a president and for members of the legislature
separately. (Ex). In the U.S., we vote for a president, who is our chief executive
branch member. We also vote for members of our legislature (the Senate and House
of Representatives) separately. The legislative branch is separate body of
government from the executive branch. They do not tell each other what to do.

The Republic of India- The Republic of India is a republic in the Asian subcontinent
in southern Asia; second most populous country in the world. The leadership in
this country in elected by the people. They choose who is elected and put in
office.
The Peoples Republic of China- This is a communist government, but they are
trying to move more towards a mixed economy. They make the citizens believe
their role is like a democracy, but really its not. The candidates that run are
already chosen from the communist party and so their elections are a scam.
The Constitutional Monarchy of Japan- Japan has a monarch even though they
really dont have any power they are more ceremonial. In this government system
the role citizen would be limited and the prime minister would make branch
decisions.
