Political Manifesto

I believe that people are born with no natural rights, but are born wanting
certain rights. I believe that people are born wanting and thinking that they have
certain rights. I think that people have certain beliefs in what rights they have, but in
a state of nature no one has any rights because in a state of nature people will do
anything to survive, it is a basic human instinct. Even some though people are good;
most are bad and selfish and only look to their own self-perseveration. So in a state
of nature people have no rights but only believe that they have any rights. The
theory of the social contract is that the people came to together to protect their
rights from the abusers of those rights. The right to be governing should come from
the consent of the majority of people because not all of them are going to agree to a
government system. Government is a system to help protect the people and rights
by signing or making a social contract for the people to agree to rules to protect
everyones rights even people that disagree. Government exits because people
wanted their rights to be protected. Government is supposed to, protect the peoples
rights who can protect them themselves. Government is necessary for advancement
of society, without society there are no rules and the world would be in a state of
nature. I support the right to rebellion theory because if the government sign or
made a social contract and break it, the people have the right to rebel because of the
government breaking the contract they agreed to.

The rights I believe each person has are none, I believe that people are born thinking
and wanting rights. John Locke says that people have god given rights of life, liberty,
and property, I would have to disagree with him because in a state of nature there
are no moral values nor laws or rules. I believe government gets its power from, the
people needs. I think that people made government out of their own selfish needs.
People who were weak who needed protection for there believed and wanted rights
from the abusers of though rights. I agree with Thomas Jefferson and John Locke
because both their philosophies are correct because they state that government is
only created when Majority accepts the government, even though some wont agree
the majority is more important than the minority. I believe governments purpose is
to protect the rights of the people of the people and create far and just rules to
protect those rights. The government and the people social contract, the
government agrees to protect the rights of the people, while the people agree to
follow laws and rules for protection of all peoples rights. In a state of nature people
have no rights, but with government people have rights that are secured and
protected. I believe rebellion against government is permissible when the
government violates or becomes destructive to the rights of the people. The people
have the right to change the laws but the government has no right to change the
rules without the consent of the people. If the government has failed to protect the
rights of the people the people have the right to rebel because the government has
fail to hold up their end of the social contract.
