ABSTRACT
This research will show if the modified method using permanganate can be
used as an alternative way in determining chemical oxygen demand as a pollutant
parameter instead of the traditional scheme with Mercuric Sulfate. The sample that
will be collected from PUP Lagoon is to be tested using the modified method,
using different concentrations of Chloride ion
