To do Transmission testing, do the following:

Purchase a one-day VAS license from erWin for $29.95

Connect the Approved Pass Thru device to vehicle, and the PC.
Turn ignition key ON (not starting the vehicle).
On the PC, click the SAE Adaption Functions then,
Enter erWin user ID and password in erWin server (figure 1).

6. After log-in, Initialization Functions screen will display the brand selection (figure 2).
Select the brand and click continue.

Engine selection screen will display (figure 3). Select the proper engine code and click
continue.

8. Confirmation page will display (figure 4), click continue to proceed.

9. The main testing page will display (figure 5), click on Adaption Functions for testing.

10. The following page will display (figure 6). Select the proper transmission code and click
continue.

To do Transmission Control Module (TCM) Coding, do the following:

1. Select transmission electronics from main menu and click continue.
2. From Transmission Electronics sub-menu, select control module coding.
3. The following screen will be displayed (figure 8), fulfill the requirement and click Done.

4. The following screen will display (figure 9), click Yes to continue.

To do Replacing/Checking of Transmission Control Module (TCM), do the following:

1. Select transmission electronics from main menu and click continue.
2. From Transmission Electronics sub-menu, select control module replacing.
3. The following screen will display (figure 10), fulfill the requirement and click Done.

To do Immobilizer Service to the transmission, do the following:

1. Select transmission electronics from main menu and click continue.
2. From Transmission Electronics sub-menu, select immobilizer servicing.
3. The following screen will display (figure 11), fulfill the requirement and click Done.
