Corporate Catalyst Round 2

All the teams are supposed to perform a top-down investment analysis as per the rules and regulations
mentioned below.

Task
Analyze the Indian E-commerce sector OR Power sector (you have to pick one) in detail with the target of
building an investment thesis in the sector.
Identify the major players in the sector and compare them across various metrics.
Identify an Investment idea in the sector (Long or short) with a view of 1 year. Clearly mention the
Investment Thesis and Risks. Support the investment idea with well substantiated fundamental analysis.

Rules
The presentation should have a maximum of 10 slides. First slide should have the team details.
Properly mention the assumptions made during the analysis in the last slide.
Top 6 teams will be selected and invited to IIM Calcutta for a presentation to the jury.
Presentation will be judged on the basis of thoroughness of the analysis.
No clarification over and above these guidelines will be provided.

*After the completion of round 2, the final 6 teams shall be allowed to make edits to their presentations for
