Today you will be creating a song or rap about your

groups animal or plant lifecycle using garage band. You

should aim to write 2 verses and a chorus using a

minimum of 2 instruments. All group members are
expected to play a role we want to hear all of your lovely

singing voices! Make sure you include information about

your animal or plant. We have already recorded one for

you to listen to and be inspired by

! How to record both instruments and voices
! How to overlap different recordings
! How to put effects over the recording

Students will then be asked if there are any


questions regarding the task and i-Pads will be
handed out.
Teacher will inform students that they have 15
minutes to complete the task

Once the time is up, students will sit in a


discussion circle with their recordings.
Teacher will then ask a group to volunteer to
share their recording with the class
At the end of the lesson each group will be asked
to upload their recording to their Book Creator.
Students will then be reminded that the next
lesson will be there last on this topic, and to make
sure they have all necessary research and tools
uploaded.
