Objective:
It would aid the students in having the clear vision and understanding about the
concepts, methods and techniques and issues involved in managing human resource so
as to facilitate employing, maintaining and promoting a motivated force in an
organization. This course covers in detail the Human resource practices and its
implications in todays business. Attention is placed specifically to the culture,
education, and skill diversity of the work force.
Upon the completion of this course you will be able to:
Relate personal management activities to total management responsibilities.
Organize and manage positions
Make better use of personnel management staff resources
Select promote and detail subordinates in accordance with merit promotion and
equal opportunity principles
Develop employees
Effectively discharge the supervisors role in working with employees in the
organization

Description:
This course provides overview of the subject Human Resource Management in which
environmental constraints will be discussed in which a manager has to perform his
activities. It will also provide the knowledge about the HRP, recruitment and selection,
job evaluation, training and development issues, organizational development, concepts
of motivation, compensation & reward policies, maintenance, employee benefits, health
& safety.
