Rev.

Martin Luther king jr

I have a
dream

NAME:
My
name
is Rev. Martin Luther King jr
WHEN:
I was born in 1929
WHERE: I was born in Georgia,
but raised in Alabama
FAMILY:
My mother was a teacher, she
taught me to read and I became a good student. I entered College
when I was 15.
My father was a minister and Im a minister too.
JOB:
I fight for civil rights using non-violence, like the great Mahatma
Ganghi did in India. Infact here in Alabama and other southern states
there is still racial discrimination, prejudice and worst of all,
segregation. It means that black people arent allowed to attend the
same schools, eat in the same restaurants, go to the same bathrooms,
and even drink at the same fountains as white people. This is
unaccettable!
I have a dream today. I have a dream that my four little children will
one day live in a nation where they wont be judged by the color of
their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream that one day, right there in Alabama, little black boys
and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and
white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today
