What do you consider to be the major challenges facing the profession today? How would you help position
Dar Al- Handasah to both meet and take advantages of these?
I think there are probably two main factors for having challenges facing the profession today. The first is pace. Like
most professions, most companies are doing more with less. So, that coupled with increased competition from
around the world and increasing technological advancement, the pace of engineering's really picked up.
Second, the complexity of the engineering job has increased. You can't just be a single discipline engineer
anymore. You have to be aware of different disciplines. If you're a mechanical, you got to be aware of electrical
and software. So, those types of complexity is really increased in the engineering profession.

We may take advantage of these challenges through gathering specific teams which include engineers with
different professions to work together from A to Z , thus providing rapport and full understanding of any
engineering project in order to reach the highest efficiency of work.
B

In Dar Al-Handasah, we work in challenging environments and strive to develop solutions for our clients. How we
get there is as important as getting there. Describe an achievement (preferably non-academic), highlighting your
approach to a problem you faced as well as the solution you developed.
In the senior project that we had, the team members were confused and disordered about the process of the work
between our hands.As a coordinator for our group, I made a full inquiry with each one of them in order to know
where best he can do or perform.Thus, each one of the members worked specifically in the domain he is best at
(One handled the control part, another one for the design and the rest of the members for the maintenance and
revamping of the project).Finally,we made it through and succeeded to enter the LIRA(Lebanese Industrial
Research Achievements) Program.

What is your definition of leadership?

For me, Leadership is an act a decision to take a stand, or step, in order to encourage, inspire or motivate
others to move with you. What's more, the most effective leaders do not rely on their title, or positional power, to
lead. Rather, their ability to use their own personal power combined with their use of strategic influence are what
make them effective.

Often, new hires bring in a fresh, outside perspective during their first months at Dar Al-Handasah. Were always
interested in their suggestions for improvement. If an idea or suggestion of yours would in your opinion bring

significant improvements for Dar Al-Handasah, how would you go about communicating it?
I'd demonstrate my ideas/suggestions in a form of a presentation that may shed the light on where should an
improvement be done.Making a full study of what is, exchanging opinions of what may be, and focusing on the
points of strengths of Dar Al-Handasah, we can reach together the imrovement we aim.

What is the most innovative thing youve done?

A system that is able to control the desired temperature in a space heated as the load varies.This efficiently
reduces the electrical bill and maintain a constant and suitable heating.

What are your hobbies? Why are these hobbies satisfying to you?

I like to read new books,articles,essays, and whatever the source is that might nourish my knowledge.
As for gaming and watching movies, I think that both of them is good for everyone to enrich his ability to
