MEMBERSHIP UNDERSTANDING AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

WE, the undersigned Members of Freedom Resort Club Travel Association (hereinafter Association) understand
that before we purchase our membership, the Association and Freedom Resort Club, LLC (FRC) wish to eliminate
all likelihood that any verbal or unauthorized representations or miscommunications may influence our decision to
join the Association. We understand and acknowledge that the Association and FRC believe it is vital that we fully
understand the exact nature of our membership and all the facts presents to us. We understand and agree that the
Association and FRC have listed below the most pertinent considerations and representations made to us, and
acknowledge that we understand these are the areas where any misunderstanding could most likely occur. In this
Understanding and Acknowledgment, the words we, us, our, and Members will mean the undersigned.
The undersigned does hereby warrant, represent, state, affirm and swear as follows:
1. ____ ____ I/We understand we are purchasing a membership with no real-estate involved. There is no expectation
of profit or gain and our participation in the Association does not enhance the benefits provided to other Members
of the Association or result in the cooperative purchase of services for the benefit of Members. Furthermore, the
participation of other Members in the Association does not enhance or better our benefits in the Association. We
further understand that the Initiation Fee, whether paid for in cash or by payments, is paid in consideration of a
membership in the Association and is not paid in consideration of any privileges, future services or rights provided
by the Association.
2. ____ ____ I/We understand that we are acquiring a Membership in the Association for personal use only and that
our purchase does not involve the acquisition of any real property nor does my purchase involve an acquisition of
vacation timesharing.
3. ____ ____ I/We understand and agree that, in addition to the one-time initiation fee, there are mandatory Monthly
Dues currently set at Monthly ($47) U.S. Dollars per month payable to FRC and which are subject to periodic
annual adjustment up or down in accordance with a majority vote of the Association Board of Directors in keeping
with the Rate Increase Limitations as specified in the Membership Rules and Regulations which limit annual rate
increases to the greater of 10% or the annual increase in the Federal Consumer Price index. We further understand
and agree that we must pay these dues initially upon joining the Association and each month thereafter. We
understand that dues will be billed to us immediately upon joining the Association (unless paid at the time I/we
joined) and then each Month thereafter, thirty (30) days prior to our Association joining anniversary date and dues
will be due and payable each Month on the anniversary date of our joining the Association.
4. ____ ____I/We understand that we have the right to transfer or sell our membership as described in the
Membership Agreement , provided we are current in our Association Monthly Dues and provided that an amount
exceeding the amount of money we paid or is payable for the membership is not received in consideration of such
sale or transfer, and further provided we agree that we do not have an expectation of gain or profit by virtue of our
purchase of the membership or of the benefits provided to Members. We further understand and agree that the
Association is not required to assist us in any way with the transfer or resale of our membership.
5. ____ ____ I/We understand and agree that the benefits of our Membership in the Association may be utilized by
our immediate family.
6. ____ ____ I/We understand and agree that there are no verbal agreements with the Associations representatives
which are not contained in the Membership Agreement, this Understanding and Acknowledgment, the Membership
Rules and Regulations, and the Association provided Members guides and materials, and further agree that there
was no high pressure or coercion by any Association representative to induce us to join the Association. We
further agree that the costs involved with Association membership present no undue financial burden to us or our
family.
7. ____ ____ I/We understand that FRC locates accommodations and arranges for occupancy in such
accommodations based upon Members reservation requests. We understand that Resort Condominium units will be
provided to us only on a space available, first-come, first-served basis and that the weekly costs for
accommodations are dependent upon the size of the condominium unit. We further understand and agree that all
reasonable efforts are made by the Association to provide for the size and location of the condominium unit as
requested by us during the time requested by us, but that such provision is on a first-come-first-served basis, with

priority for two and three bedroom units given to party sizes of six (6) individuals or more, and is in no way
guaranteed.
8. ____ ____ I/We understand that if we are current in payment of our Membership obligations and Monthly
Association Dues payments, we may submit a request for a week of resort condominium space in keeping with the
Reservation Request Limitations defined in the Membership Rules and Regulations. We further understand and
agree that confirmed resort condominium reservations are subject to the limitations detailed in paragraph #6,
above, and, once accepted by us and confirmed by the Association in writing, are non-cancelable. We also
understand and agree that reservation requests and cancellations of such Requests must be made directly and only
with the Reservation Office, and may be made either in writing, or in person only, and not by phone. We further
understand and agree that accommodations for specific periods of time and in specific locations are in no way
guaranteed until a reservation request has been confirmed by the Reservations Office in writing. We further
understand that in the event the Association is unable to confirm any resort condominium reservation request, our
weekly reservation cost will be refunded.
9. ____ ____ I/We understand and agree that the Association is a multi-destination, multi-benefit Travel Association
and that our membership is not for any specific destination or period of time during each year. We understand that
we select vacation areas, not specific resorts and that availability of facilities is predicated on location and not
specific resorts. We further understand that resort condominium accommodation availability may vary widely each
year depending upon such factors as season, location, or current demand.
10. ____ ____ I/We understand and agree that the sole extent of our membership, benefits and obligations is
detailed in the Membership Agreement, the Membership Rules and Regulations, the Truth-in-Lending Disclosures
Statement (if applicable), and this Understanding and Acknowledgment, copies of which we acknowledge Reading.
11. ____ ____ I/We understand that there is no prepayment penalty for early payment of our Membership.
12. ____ ____ I/We acknowledge that by signing below I may be contacted by phone, email, or mail about other
promotions periodically offered by FRC until and unless I notify FRC that I no longer want to be notified of new
promotions irrespective of whether my telephone number(s) appears on any state of federal Do Not Call lists. I
further agree that this form will supersede any Do Not Call lists that I may be listed on, and that this document
constitutes a business transaction with FRC. I also consent to receive information from FRC via telephone calls,
prerecorded messages, emails and text/sms including through the use of an auto-dialer system at the cellular or
other numbers provided by me. I understand that cellular usage charges may apply and such consent to receive
autodialed calls does not require me to purchase anything additional. I further consent to the placement of
collection oriented calls to me from FRC or an agent of FRC, for my failure to abide to any agreement entered into
between me and FRC, to any telephone numbers provided by me to FRC or to any telephone numbers discovered by
FRC or FRCs agent that may be associated with me in any way. To inform FRC that I either withdraw my consent to
receive communications from FRC as described directly above, or to update my information, I must send such a
request to: FRC at corpoffice@freedomresortclub.com.
13. ____ ____ I/we also agree that by entering into transactions with FRC, I consent to receive, in an electronic
format, all information, copies of agreements and correspondence from FRC and to also send information in an
electronic format unless previously agreed upon in writing with FRC. To inform FRC that I either withdraw my
consent to receive future notices and disclosures in electronic format, that I would like to receive paper copies or to
update my information, I may send such request to: FRC at corpoffice@freedomresortclub.com, At all times, I
maintain the sole obligation to ensure I can receive FRCs electronic communications, and access them on a regular
and diligent basis.
14.______ _______ I/We agree to hold harmless the Association and FRC from any claims, actions or damages,
including reasonable attorneys fees, sustained by the Association and FRC resulting from my action or failure to
act.
15._______ _________ I/We may cancel the purchase of my membership by giving written notice to Association
located at 401 E. Law Olas Blvd, Suite 1400, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301. In order to receive a full refund, such
cancellation notice must be postmarked no more than 30 days from my date of purchase and receipt of this signed
document. I will receive a full refund of any fees paid by me within 15 days after my cancelation request is received
by the Association. I may also cancel my Membership if accommodations or facilities are not available pursuant to
a request for use as provided in the Contract. If the Association transfers its obligation to provide me with my
Membership to another organization that provides substantially fewer services, the Association must provide notice

thereof to me in writing with a description of the Services the new organization will offer. Should I not consent to
such a transfer, my Membership will be rescinded and I will be provided a refund pro rata based on the amount of
time I was a member.
16. ______ __________ I/We acknowledge that my Membership in the Association is on a month to month basis not to
exceed 30 years. I understand that I can cancel my Membership at anytime with no further obligation.
17.________ _________I/We acknowledge having been given the opportunity to review the list of accommodation
providers and nature of accommodations provided by such providers prior to our becoming a Member by visiting
the website www.freedomresortclub.com.
I/we have read and understood all of the provision of this Membership Understanding and
Acknowledgement and have had the opportunity to ask all questions that I/we deem relevant. I/we agree to hold
harmless the FRC and the Association from liability arising as a result of any claims that I/we may assert that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this Membership Understanding and Acknowledgement.
