a. Meassure draught and trim
b. General inspection above sea level
c. General inspection below sea level
d. General internal inspection of the compartment for corrosion and
damages
e. Inspection of the fender system
f. Inspection of the paint system
g. Check manhole cover and trim ballast container for proper sealing
2. Deckhouse
a. Visual inspection
b. Check sheaves and grease sheaves with Shell Alvania EP2
c. Check the two watertight doors for proper functioning
d. Grease door hinges and dogs with Shell Alavania EP2
e. Clean deckhouse drains
3. Navigation Aids
a. Visual and functioning inspection
b. Check battery voltage (deck house)
c. Check telemetry system
4. Mooring equipment
a. Check hawser for any kind of damage
5. Main bearing
a. Visual inspection grease nipples
b. Visual inspection holds and caps
c. Visual inspection Seals
d. Rotation check of buoy
e. Grease de main bearing with Shell Alvana EP2
6. Piping
a. General inspection
7. Flexile joints
a. Visual inspection
8. Buoys ball valves
a. Close and open the ball valves
b. Grease the extended handwheel bearing with Shell Alvania EP2
9. Safety equipment
a. Life Buoys and buoys lights
i. General condition (two life belts on deckhouse)
ii. Functional check on winker light
10.Fire extinguishers
a. Check general condition
11.SPM System and Chain pretensioning
a. Measure water depth, chain pretensioning angle and buoys
position with respect to the Plem
i. Water depth for every chaint (1 to 6)
ii. Buoy position
iii. Chain angle adjustment required
iv. Chain angle adjustment executed

v. Check for any obstructive marine grow between the turret

and center well
12.Cathodic protection
a. Check anode attachment
b. Measure operational condition of anodes with Ag/AgCl reference
cell
13.Central product swivel and overboard swivel
a. Check operational condition of swivels
b. Grease swivel bearing with SA
c. Check for internal leakage of the seals by removing the leak
detector plugs
14.Winch
a. Grease the moving parts throught the grease nipples with SA
b. Treat the wire with Shell Malleus Fluid C or equivalent
15.Floating Hose Strings
a. Check the proper function of the winker lights
b. Inspect the hose strings virtually
c. Grease the camlock couplings with SA
d. Grease the butterfly valve with SA
16.Submarine hose strings
a. Check the submarine hose strings with the use of the FAD sysem
