INSTALLATION OF THE PEIKKO and DELTABEAM DWG-SYMBOL LIBRARIES

Extract the zip-file to one folder, for example C:\Peikko or C:\Deltabeam.

SETTINGS AFTER FILE INSTALLATION

After file installation you have to change some settings in AutoCAD: First you have to change the Support
Files Search Path then load the menu file. The following instructions are for the AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT
versions from 2000 to 2011.
AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD LT 2007 and newest vervion

Start AutoCAD
Enter command OPTIONS
Select "Files" tab
Select the line "Support File Search Path"
Click "Add" button
Write the path of your new symbol directory (default C:\peikko or C:\Deltabeam) into the empty text box
or use the "Browse" button to add the directory path
Click "MoveUp" button until the installation directory is on the top of the list
Click "OK" button
Enter command CUILOAD
Click "Browse" button
Select (mnu) as filetype
Browse the installation directory and select file "Peikko.mnu" or Deltabeam.mnu
Click "Open" button
Click "Load" button
Click "Close" button
Change AutoCAD LT Classic View (If you have 2009 of newest version of that)

AutoCAD 2000-2005 and AutoCAD LT 2000-2005

Start AutoCAD
Enter command OPTIONS
Select "Files" tab
Select the line "Support File Search Path"
Click "Add" button

Click "OK" button
Enter command MENULOAD
Select Menu Groups tab
Click "Browse" button
Select "Menu Template *.mnu" as filetype
Browse the installation directory and select file "Peikko.mnu" or Deltabeam.mnu
Click "Open" button
Click "Load" button
AutoCAD asks for confirmation for loading mnu file
Click OK
Select "Peikko" or Deltabeam from "Menu Groups" list
Click "Menu Bar" tab
Select "Help" from "Menu Bar" list on the right
Select "Peikko" or Deltabeam from "Menus" list on the left
Click "Insert>>" button
Click "Close" button
