Owl Pattern (US terms)

Materials:
3mm Hook
2 safety eyes (6mm)
Key ring
Fiberfill
Orange yarn for beak
I've used Catania Cotton for body and wings, you can use any color you like
Body
(start at the bottom)
Round 1: 6sc in magic ring (6sc)
Round 2: 2sc in every sc (12sc)
Round 3: 2sc in every 2nd sc (18sc)
Round 4-6: 18sc
Change color (pink in picture)
Round 7-9: 18sc
Round 10: sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc around (12sc)
Now add the safety eyes between round 8 and 9
Stuff firmely
Fold top together and crochet in 2 layers: dc, hdc, 2sl st, hdc, dc (6 sts)
Finish off
Wings (make 2)
Chain 3
Round 1: 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3hdc, crochet on other side of chain, 1sc, 1sl st.
Finish off
Sew wings on side of body.
Embroider, with orange yarn, a beak, over round 6 and 7.
Sew the key ring to the 2sl st on top of the body.
