Jargon

Special words or expressions that are used by a particular


profession or group and are difficult for others to understand.

Critical Thinking

The objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form


a judgment.

Core Skills

Core skills or core competencies are defined as systematically


focused combinations of individual technologies and production
skills that support a multitude of product lines of a company.

Technical skills

Are those abilities acquired through learning and practice. They


are often job or task specific; in other words, a particular skill set
or proficiency required to perform a specific job or task

Fair Use

the doctrine that brief excerpts of copyright material may, under


certain circumstances, be quoted verbatim for purposes such as
criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research, without the
need for permission from or payment to the copyright holder.

An EULA is a legal contract between the manufacturer and/or the


author and the end user of an application

Internet Privacy

Internet privacy is the privacy and security level of personal data


published via the Internet. It is a broad term that refers to a
variety of factors, techniques and technologies used to protect
sensitive and private data, communications, and preferences.

Professionalism

the competence or skill expected of a professional

Punctuality

Punctuality is the characteristic of being able to complete a


required task or fulfill an obligation before or at a previously
designated time.

Dependable

trustworthy and reliable.

Internet Acceptable
Use Policy (AUP)

is a document stipulating constraints and practices that a user


must agree to for access to a corporate network or the Internet.
