I am a hardworking and easygoing student who is keen to develop new skills and gain experience

I am currently a student at Coopers Technology College in Chislehurst. I have a keen interest in

pursuing a career in the media industry. I can use the following computer software: iMovie,
iStopMotion, Photoshop, Adobe Flash 2d Animation CS3. I have experience in video editing and
graphic design, and have brief knowledge in using Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects, but have
a lot of experience using iMovie. I am a quick learner and already know how to green screen, add
colour correction over video footage, add transitions between footage, and use different camera
angles on iMovie. I can also create photo manipulations using Photoshop CS6 and have
experience creating 2D backgrounds and logos. I am able to work in a team or independently. I
am also able to help others improve their work by giving them ideas from my own creations.
Recently I was part of the post production editing team for BBC School Report, which involved
filming an interview using a video camera, loading it onto a Mac computer, then viewing the film
several times and editing (trimming) out unnecessary footage. I then put clips together to compile
an end product followed by a further review of the end product footage to see if any further
changes could be made, then added transitions between different scenes.
In class I have also made an animation, which involved a Gameboy playing Brickbreaker using
onion skinning and custom sound track on Adobe Flash CS3, which can be viewed on
YouTube.

During my time at The One Off I had the opportunity to gain an insight into the digital media
environment. I was given the opportunity to work on various projects alongside professionals,
gaining working knowledge of Cinema 4D, Photoshop CS6 and Adobe After Effects.

At The Mail On Sunday I was asked to do research related to a particular news article that was
running that weekend. I gained an understanding of newspaper layout and how advertising space
is vital to incoming revenue.

Interests
I enjoy socialising with my friends and family and creating digital music using a Launchpad. I
have keen interest in art and spend my spare time visiting exhibitions including Banksy,
Liechtenstein and Hirst.
