WHAT THEY DO-A news anchor is a person who presents any news during a news
program on either tv, the radio or on the internet.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY- Cover breaking news stories and report them live when
it happened, research and develop news from the idea stages to a written script.
EDUCATION LEVEL- You have at least a bachelor's degree in journalism

MATT LAUER- Was born on december 30 1957 in New York City. He went to
Ohio State to get into journalism. In 1992, NBC signed him to co-host 2 shows, Live at
Five and Today in New York. In 1994 he became a news anchor for the today show.

DIRECTOR
Is a person who directs the making of the film. And they also controls the films a films
artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualize the script while guiding the technical crew
and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. And they also has a key role in choosing the
cast members, production design, and the creative aspects of filmmaking.
SALARY- $29,479-$174,370
Education- A minimum of a 4-year bachelor degree with classes of cinematography,
lighting and audio production, photography, acting and screenwriting.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES- Must have a comprehensive understanding of all
aspects of film production, from acting to lens technology.

DIRECTOR
J.J ABRAMS- Was born in New York City on June 27,1966 and went on to
film screenwriting during his college days at Sarah Lawrence college. He created
several hit series, including Felicity, Alias, Lost and Fringe. And has also done much
production and directing work. He made 2006s Mission Impossible 3 and 2009 Star
Trek. He also directed Super 8, Star Trek into Darkness, and he is also set to direct Star
Wars: Episode VII.

ACTOR
WHAT THEY DO- a person who is portraying a character in a dramatic or comic
production. He or she performs in film, television, theatre, and radio.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY- Follow blocking and movement instructions. Appear
on time and work well with the staff.Follow physical, costuming,and voice and
language guidelines to act as a character.
EDUCATION-You have to get a bachelor's degree in theatrical arts and drama.

ACTOR CONTINUED
PATRICK STEWART-Was born on july 13,1940 in Yorkshire,
England.While studying at the British Old Vic Theatre School, he landed his significant
stage role in treasure island in 1959. He worked on several English repertory theatre
companies during the early 1960s. He also acted extensively with Royal Shakespeare
Company, then getting a huge fan base playing in Star-Trek: The Next Generation and
later playing in X-Men. He later returned to theatre with roles in The Tempest, Hamlet,
and Macbeth.
