MOST Labor
Standards
In Workforce Management, you use job codes to measure user performance. Job
codes contain the key volume indicators (KVIs) that define a reasonable labor
standard by which the user or machine completing a task will be measured.
Accenture Work Measurement Software for Distribution is another software
application that is used to develop labor standards. Accenture Work Measurement
Software for Distribution uses the Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST)
to develop the details that make up labor standards.
Customers who already have labor standards defined in Accenture Work
Measurement Software for Distribution can export these labor standards to
Workforce Management. Once the download is complete, you can view the KVI
values and prompts that have been created for troubleshooting purposes. For
example, you can see whether MOST labor standard downloads are coming into
Workforce Management as expected.
You use MOST Audit Data Display to view
the name and path of the Accenture Work Measurement Software for
Distribution import file, and
the status of the Accenture Work Measurement Software for Distribution import
file.
You can also use Job Code Maintenance and Job Code Display to troubleshoot
MOST labor standard downloads. For more information on job codes, see the
Workforce Management online help.

Setup Tasks
Before you begin using MOST Audit Data Display, you need to complete these setup
tasks.
1. Create the Import Directory folders (most, prc and err). The standard locations
for the MOST import folders are:
<DRIVE>:\RedPrairie\<MODEL_INSTANCE>\LES\files\hostout\most\
<DRIVE>:\RedPrairie\<MODEL_INSTANCE>\LES\files\hostout\most\prc
<DRIVE>:\RedPrairie\<MODEL_INSTANCE>\LES\files\hostout\most\err
3. Create new job codes in Workforce Management to map to the job codes in
Accenture Work Measurement Software for Distribution.
For each job code that you are importing, create a new job code in Workforce
Management that has a Description field that is the same as the Department
field in the Accenture Work Measurement Software for Distribution job
code. For more information on job codes, see the Workforce Management
online help.
For each new job code in Workforce Management, set each of the KVI
Prompt field(s) equal to the Volume Driver field(s) in Accenture Work
Measurement Software for Distribution. For more information on KVI
prompts, see the Workforce Management online help.
