I would like a Church,

that is poor and is for the poor.

Jaro is rich in culture, history and human resources. However, in its vast richness, we have brethrens, who live in poverty.
As a Philippine Catholic Church celebrates the Year of the Poor in this Era of New Evangelization,we, as a parish community are
challenged to live our identity and mission as Church of the Poor. We recognize Our Lady of Candles life as our model to guide us
in our efforts to love, help and serve the poor.
In our own poverty, we look up to our Mother to inspire and teach us to give preference to the poor so that we can be a source
of hope for everyone.

To love God and neighbor is not something abstract,

but profoundly concrete: it means seeing in every
person and face the Lord to be serve, to serve Him
concretely. And You are, dear brothers and sisters, in
the face of Jesus.
