#1 The Importance of Trees for Living Things.
A. The Importance of Trees for Earth
The importance of trees for earth, there is so many ways that trees help earth but the
mainly, they prevent natural disaster like flood or drought by keep water in root, absorb
carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, make air and soil clean, and act like windbreaker to
prevent storm.
A mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year. What
many people don't realize is the forest also acts as a giant filter that cleans the air we breath.
Trees play roles as absorptions of dangerous chemicals and other pollutants that have entered
the soil. Trees can either store harmful pollutants or actually change the pollutant into less
harmful forms.
A windbreak can lower home heating bills up to 30% and have a significant effect on reducing
snow drifts. A reduction in wind can also reduce the drying effect on soil and vegetation behind
the windbreak and help keep precious topsoil in place.

can increase the property value of your home by 15% or more.
home to live, let birds nest and play there, also provide bark for house building weasel and
other creatures.
Foods for them berries, bugs, leaves, nuts and sometimes roots.
Act like shelter from rain and wind, mostly, but inside tree for smaller animals and fallen
trees for beavers.

or squirrel.

Water Cycles - Trees play an important part in the water cycle, grounding the
water in their roots and releasing it into the atmosphere. In the Amazon, more
than half the water in the ecosystem is held within the plants. Without the plants,
the climate may become dryer.
Loss of Species - Seventy percent of the worlds plants and animals live in forests
and are losing their habitats to deforestation. Loss of habitat can lead to species
extinction.
Carbon Emissions - Healthy forests help absorb greenhouse gasses and carbon
emissions that are caused by human civilization and contribute to global climate
change.
Soil Erosions - Without tree roots to anchor the soil and with increased exposure
to sun, the soil can dry out, leading to problems like increased flooding and
inability to farm.
Life Quality - Soil erosion can also lead to silt entering the lakes, streams, and
other water sources. This can decrease local water quality, contributing to poor
health in the local population.
C. Future of Earth
If we do nothing and keep cutting trees, there will be no forest, and animals lose
their habitat, people cant make products of it, all living things will not able to
breath with oxygen freely. And global warming will get worse, and it make north
and south pole melts, and sea level will rise, and many countries will be drown.
