    The Cold War.

    An Institutional Structure. Created during the Cold War therefore they serve the
    American interest.
    Economics: World Bank, IMF, ITO/GATT
    Strategic: United Nations, NATO, Alliance diplomacy.
    Consequences of Cold War CAN BE ASKED IN EXAM.
    Consequences in Europe. The division of Europe, Germany, European Union.
    Consequences in Asia. The destruction of Japanese Empire.
    Consequences in Africa. Decolonisation.
    The concept of bi-polarity provides a good overview of world politics between
    the 1940 and 1990 but it is too simplistic. The West is not a single bloc.
    The CW Narrative is Too Simple.
