Work with staff to support implementation and sustaining PBIS in our district.

PBIS in Inver Grove Heights Community Schools


Working with the staff and administration to
ensure there is consistency within the PBIS
systems. This will include:
Defining majors/minors
Coding building locations for data
Data- how to use the data to drive decision making
Assisting staff in learning behavior systems and aiding with
implementation at each building
Looking at Tiers 2 and 3 and how they can best be supported at
within each school
Curriculum
Supporting staff
Align district discipline policies with PBIS philosophy

What is PBIS?
PBIS- Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports
PBIS is a framework for enhancing adoption and
implementation of a continuum of evidence-based
interventions to achieve academically and behaviorally
important outcomes for all students.

What are School-wide Positive Behavioral

School-wide PBIS is (Horner and Sugai 2009):

A research-based systems approach for establishing the social


culture and behavioral supports needed for a school to be an
effective learning environment for all students.
