Dear Friends, how are you? We hope you are well on this journey of life. This year has already been
extremely packed and intense. In the midst of the stress and busyness, we clearly see Gods hand at
work in and through us daily - in the details and bigger vision. It is so exciting for you and us to serve our
great God together in partnership. We value your friendship, pray for you and encourage you to continue
your walk with the Lord, no matter what.
ILM
The ILM was a great week. Dileep so enjoyed being a musician again playing and serving in the worship
band. This historic ILM saw the appointment of a new International Director, Lawrence Tong and his wife
Susan. They will commence in this position in September. (see here for more on Lawrence.)
Unlike last years ILM, there was a real and tangible sense of unity, expectancy, anticipation and joy. At
the celebration banquet to induct Lawrence, nearly half of the 400 present formed a dancing conga line in
joyful celebration accompanied by an african flavored choir from the MV Logos Hope! I havent checked
the history books, but Im pretty sure this may have been the first dancing conga line at an ILM with all of
OMs senior leadership!!
Between Dileep & Bill Drake, further groundwork was laid down for OM Arts as well.
SALT
In the first week of May, OM Arts brought together 26 artists serving in nine different countries for a
Strategic Arts Leadership Training. The purpose of SALT is to further develop arts leaders, learn from
each other, and build and live out incarnational community. OM Arts leaders, (Bill, Pat & Dileep and Mat
Carson) facilitated the time together.
As OM Arts we learned that as individuals, many are struggling on the field - spiritual oppression, health,
etc. One of the highlights were extended times of un abandoned worship, prayer and ministry to one
another. We saw a release of the Holy Spirit and know that situations and dynamics will change for the
better as a result. One of the main aims was to develop and foster incarnational community (one of OM
Arts core values). God through His grace did this and now we have some challenges ahead on how to
maintain and grow the community virtually.
Some words that describe SALT: exciting; inspiring; engaging; educational; energising; community;
challenging; motivational; spirit filled; refining; focusing.
Pray that we can effectively maintain a virtual community, and better serve the needs of artists on the
Field.

Immediately after the SALT, Dileep (With Bill, Ty and Amy) drove 15.5 hours and 1100km from the SALT
in Birmingham UK, under the English Channel (the Chunnel), through some of France, through Belgium
to Mosbach Germany. This journey officially kicked off the tour for the 3 piece band. at the end of the
tour the bad will be expanded to 6 pieces. Dileep is looking after the technical production.
We are touring BIlls new album: Broken and Complete (LINK) More than the album the message of
being broken people, and complete in Christ is the focus. A massive obstruction for many of us is
unforgiveness. When we do not forgive others, this adds to our baggage and figuratively and sometimes
literally is a cancer in our lives and body. As God forgives us, when we forgive others we not only reflect
an attribute of Gods character, but find freedom and healing for ourselves.

would show up and penetrate peoples lives and hearts.

Team unity
Home Front
We have been well and busy. OM Arts continues to grow by the grace of God and this creates additional
requirements on us as leaders that can be stressful. In April we thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Dileeps
Dad and step mum visiting from Australia. We spent a couple of nights in Charleston, South Carolina and
several days hanging out at home. Dileeps brother also popped in! Though it was only five or six days
together, it was a great time. (apart from the fact dad had the flu! Hes better now)
While Dileeps role involves a reasonable amount of travel, it is our desire that May has opportunity to
join him on some trips so she can fully exercise her gifting as well.
Would you pray with us for Gods provision for May to travel; needed technology upgrades and some
medical?

The ministry of OM Arts can be summed up as follows:

Equipping artist for cross cultural ministry.
Facilitating and leading short term cross cultural ministry with artists.
Championing, supporting and strengthening long term arts ministries in various
international locations.
This is what we do, coordinating most things from the office in Atlanta. In the office we
have a core teams of four full-time staff, and eight part-time staff and volunteers. Here's a
small taste of what you'll here more about as the year goes on:
At least 12 short term arts trips in over 12 countries.
Aiming to facilitating over 70 people into a short term ministry experience.
Strengthening partnerships with existing OM arts ministries in Belgium, Kosovo,
Ireland, West Asia, UK, Italy North Africa.
Developing partnerships with new arts ministry in OM Fields in Germany, France,
South Africa.
Working on next year's school of mission: Incarnate 2014. A three month intensive
cross cultural arts ministry training in Italy.
