Diverting Video Games
Kids in this day in age are mostly interested in video games, and a lot of these video games are
violent therefore they could be very unhealthy for teens or kids, also could corrupt their minds
with violence and diverts them from what's important like school and family,theres been many
accounts of this,Violent role playing video games can be really bad for teens/kids.

Teens who play violent video games can get easily distracted from their school work.Teens
would say up for long periods of times playing addicting games like Call of Duty and Halo,that
could lead to them not doing homework and not being prepared for school.

Playing theses games all night could lead the teens into doing these actions in real life.There has
been scenes in video games where you would need to do a mass killing and some teens fall under
the influence of this violence and may repeat it. Benedict Carry said A burst of new research has
begun to clarify what can and cannot be said about the effects of violent gaming. Playing the
games can and does stir hostile urges and mildly aggressive behavior in the short term.
Youngsters who develop a gaming habit can become slightly more aggressive as measured by
clashes with peers, for instance at least over a period of a year or two.

A lot of games out in todays age can teach you some things that could maybe help in real life but
violent video games cant.A lot of the violent video games are about mindless killing and

war.From Erik Canes research there was a mass shooting in Washington, D.C. in which an angry,
mentally-ill young man shot and killed a dozen of his fellow citizens,and the release of Grand
Theft Auto V had came out a game with mindless killing.Could games like this be linked with
killings.I dont know that a psychological study can ever answer that question definitively, said

Violent video games can help kids express themselves and other things,although video games
have more negative effects than positive effects,like it being unhealthy for teens or kids, also
could corrupt their minds with violence and diverts them from what's important like school and
