Learning Activities
Activities for this Module:
1. Measure the size of your academic language by doing the vocabulary practice
exercises for Sublist 1.
2. Use the AWL analyzer to see your vocabulary size in at least one essay from last
term.
3. Select new academic language to create an AWL vocabulary set in Quizlet.
4. Use academic vocabulary set for practice & games.
5. Use gap-fill maker to create a gap-fill paragraph using some of your new
academic language and share in Google Drive.
6. Complete gap-fill paragraphs of at least three classmates and mark your
classmates work.
7. Update your daily vocabulary plan to include AWL activities.

youve faced and how youve overcome them, changes you want to make, etc.
