SOLO Written exam and final reflection__________________________________________________________
This is an 80 hour SOLO course. We will be meeting for 20 3-hour session plus the mock rescue and two final
exam sessions. Class session may go overtime to be sure we cover the material appropriately. Since this is a college level
course it is essential that you read the material BEFORE class so class time can emphasize practicing treatment and new
skills. You are also expected to practice and study the material covered outside of class time. You will take an active part
in this class by taking turns being responsible for the First Aid training closet. Your homework assignments also count as
time for this course. These assignments must be completed satisfactorily and you must attend all classes to obtain your
SOLO certification.
SOLO certification will be handled on an individual basis. A passing grade for the course does not guarantee
WFR certification (see criteria for certification attached).
