This is a detailed sketch of the human neck and shoulder muscles by Leonardo da Vinci.
By analyzing this drawing, I learned that Da Vinci had a deep enthusiasm for learning the
anatomy of the human body and paid attention to detail.I can use this information to show
that Leonardo was one of the leading pioneers in anatomy.

This drawing shows Leonardo's winged flying machine based off the mechanics of a bird.
I learned that some of Leonardo da Vincis works are based off of things created by
nature. I can use this sketch to illustrate da Vincis obsession with flight .

Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci is an extremely famous painting of a woman with a
peculiar smile. By taking a closer look at this work of art, I realized how much detail was
not only on the character of the painting, but the background scenery also had detailed
swerving roads and tall mountains. With this painting , I can show how Leonardo da
Vincis art expressed the Renaissance's new views.

The image is a very detailed map of Imola, Italy. I learned that Leonardo da Vinci created
maps, which required great math as well as art skills and was far ahead of its time. I will
use this information to show that Leonardo was one of the people to lay the foundation to
building accurate maps.

which includes a picture of The Louvre. I learned that The Louvre is one of the most well
known museums in the world. I can use this source to show how The Mona Lisa is so
valuable to man that is kept in one of the best museums in the world.

This source does a great job at explaining how Leonardos math and science skills closely
linked to his art pieces. I learned that da Vinci published his Treatise on Painting , which
talked about how nature and art was linked to mathematical order. With this source, I can
help others better understand how Leonardo da Vincis math and science discoveries led
to more realistic artwork.

This Article refers to Leonardos life as a military architect. I learned that some of
Leonardos inventions were actually lethal weapons, which taught me that da Vinci was
also an innovator of military and combat. With this information, I will be able to show
that Leonardo da Vinci was a leader in the innovation of machines relating combat.

of Leonardo's inventions, specifically his self propelled cart. Using this information, I can
explain to my readers of how Leonardo da Vinci's inventions led the engineering
community to recreate his ideas as state of the art technology 400 years later.

about how da Vincis early life contributed to his success. Using this information, I
can show what Leonardos life was like in his early years and how he excelled even at a

young age.

I learned that da Vinci created many more well known masterpieces than I originally
thought he had. I can use this source to better display Leonardo's artwork and to prove his
legacy of being a great painter.

This source talks about some of Leonardos accomplishments, but seems to focus more
on his achievements as an artist and less on his inventions. I learned that Leonardo
developed advanced techniques such as how to paint light reflecting off of skin to make
his art more realistic. I can use this source to inform people of Leonardos paintings and
the techniques he used to make them so remarkable.

impact Leonardo made in Math and Science.

including images of Leonardo da Vinci. I learned that Leonardo created a self portrait of
himself, which must have been extremely difficult to do. I can use this source to produce

This Biography talks about Leonardos life and how he contributed to math, science, and
geology.I learned that Leonardo studied fossils, and that with the information he correctly

hypothesized that where he was studying was once below sea level. I can use this
information to show how Leonardos study of fossils led him to grasp the concept of
geologic time, which was ahead of his era.
