PRAIRIE HIGH SCHOOL

March 2nd March 7th

To all of you. This was a tough week for our Prairie

many of you were willing to help, support, listen, hug,
and care for others. Thank you for being a Prairie
Hawk!!

are helping our kids attain these goals.

Consider how you

BE GREAT!!
Essential Standards charts should be completed before the unit takes place. These
will be used to guide our Dept PLC work.
Everyone should fill out the Enrichment form on our staff site,

Under RTI/MTSS click on ER Plans Form. This
needs to be completed by everyone by the end of the day Monday.
Focus on offering more extension opportunities for Our Kids that are already
proficient in their standards.

Mar 24th, 25th, 26th are IA Assessments. We will have a 2-hr late start each of these
days. The IA Assessments will be scheduled for the first 90 minutes followed by an ER
session for 30 min. We will not be having 0 hour those 3 days.
Mar 20th Mar 24th is the HS Music Trip to Florida. All students have been and will
be told again they need to be in school on the 25th. They can make up the Tuesday
test missed on Wed or Thur during ER if the time allows for them to finish. If the
time does not allow, then Steve Stumpff will determine make-up times for those
students.

LEARNERS CORNER

As we build a Culture of Greatness, this time of year becomes of utmost importance

to stay the course and stay together. We will continue to support and nurture Our
Kids by the culture of the building, which we as adults control. No matter how
difficult a student might be acting, we can still like them and let them know we
care. It will take time but the results will be worth it. Attached is an article
I sent a little over a year ago. Still relevant today. Worth another read.

To staff with birthdays this week:
