Turkey Immigration Problem
Immigration is a problem in the EU because they feel that they are losing their jobs,
and the Unemployment rate is through the roof for some countries. This is causing
an uproar and the reason many countries feel like Turkey should not be allowed in
the EU. Many countries have blatantly stated that their nation is a no immigration
nation.
After WW2 Europe saw a dramatic increase in immigrants and they have not been
very fond of it. It is said that it occurs from the vast in balance between rich and
poor economic countries. The countries make an attempt to migrate in a place not
to fond of it.

This problem is attempting to be resolved by new laws being put into effect. There
are agreements as well such as the 1985 Schengen Agreement which allowed
immigration to occur within Europe, but gave the immigrants less rights. This
however the immigrants feel is unfair and want to live in a place where they have
all the same rights as the hometown people.
Immigration would also require higher border control and would have to increase
the level of security within European countries. Europeans have to be careful though
now after 911 happened countries are very skeptical to bring in immigrants. And to
monitor these people would require money that some of these countries are not
willing to spend.
