University of Rhode Island

2011-Present

Currently completing my bachelors degree in writing and rhetoric with a minor in

wildlife and conservation biology.

Went on a mission trip during my time with La Salle Academys Environmental Club.
We went camped in Colorado and then proceeded to travel to New Mexico to build
Earthships for locals. These buildings were named because they are made out of 100%
recycled materials and are completely sustainable.

This summer (before moving down to South Carolina) I interned at the Rhode Island
Department of Environmental Management. Here I merely helped with spreadsheets
and assisted where I was needed. My greatest accomplishment while interning was
helping to write a piece on RIDEMs work with the community, which was ultimately
distributed to statehouse officials.

Growing up, I was an active member in my towns 4H club, the Field and Streamers. We
frequently joined up with the West Greenwich Land Trust and participated in trail
cleanups. We also helped out with a RIDEM run program called the Great Outdoors
Pursuit.
