Reminders
PARCC TESTING
Testing begins this week. Please follow the testing schedule and school-wide
procedures for testing. Avoid the hallways during the testing time blocks of 8:30-10:30
AM and 12:30-2:30PM. If you must travel the hallways, the voice level must be at a 0.
Do not send any students out of the classroom unattended. ALL OF MS. GAMBLES
PULL-OUT CLASSES AND COMPUTER CLASSES ARE CANCELLED ON TUESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY THIS WEEK AND NEXT.
AFTER-SCHOOL BOOT CAMP
All teachers who dismiss students in grades 1-8 at 2:45PM must walk the boot
camp students directly to the lunchroom. Please see the roster for which students
attend each day as they may vary. Boot camp teachers pick up their assigned students
in the lunchroom promptly at 3:00PM. Please issue a pretest and keep attendance and
progress records for the students. See Ms. Lipsett if you need support with anything
boot-camp related.
DATA CONFERENCES
Evidence of student data conferences must be present in teacher data binders, student
data folders, and posted in the classroom/on lockers. We no longer have subs available
to cover classrooms. Please let Mrs. Scarlett know if you have not finished your
conferences.
*SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION Monitoring *

You have your new set of MOY data for reading and math. Use the curriculum ladder
to group and plan specific lesson plans based on what students need to learn in order
to show growth and attainment. Your small group lesson plans and implementation
will be monitored closely this week. Be prepared to speak to the student
groupings, specific skills addressed, assessments, and implications for
instruction.
MATH PACING UPDATED
You should be following the Network 13 pacing guide for math. Below are the foci each
