GOAL'S
THE MAIN GOAL AS A INSTRUCTOR IS TO PREPARE ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS THAT ENGAGES STUDENTS
MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
THE GOAL OF THIS GAME IS TO HELP STUDENTS CONQUER THEIR FEAR AND EXCEL IN MATHEMATICS
WHEN A PROBLEM IS ANSWERED CORRECTLY THEY WILL HAVE A PERSONAL CHEERING SQUAD MOTIVATING
THEM TO CONTINUE ON.
CREATE INNOVATIVE WAYS STUDENTS CAN TURN THEIR MATHEMATICAL WEAKNESSES INTO STRENGTHS
RATHER, INCREASING THE TIME DEVOTED TO STUDYING ONLINE IS ONLY USEFUL WHEN IT TAKES PLACE AS
SOME FORM OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING (CASTAO-MUOZ, DUART, & SANCHO-VINUESA).
GIVING STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY GAMES WHICH IS SOMETHING THEY ARE INTERESTED IN,
WILL IN RETURN STRENGTHEN THEIR MATHEMATICAL SKILLS AND CAN BE USED AS A MOTIVATIONAL
TECHNIQUE

PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT
STUDENTS PLAY AN EDUCATIONAL BASEBALL GAME SURROUNDING MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS
EACH TIME A STUDENTS GETS A PROBLEM RIGHT THEY HIT A HOMERUN AND THE CROWD GOES
CRAZY.
FOR EVERY PROBLEM THAT PRESENTED A CHALLENGE THEY HAVE A LIFELINE THAT THEY CAN USE TO
HELP THEM BEFORE GETTING A STRIKE
AFTER THREE STRIKES THEY WILL TAKE A PASS AND ANOTHER CLASSMATE WILL STEP IN THE GAP AS
TO BE AN ADVOCATE TO HELP THE STUDENT CORRECT THE PROBLEMS THAT WAS WRONG.
THIS GAME IS NOT ONLY EDUCATIONAL, BUT FUN, CREATIVE AND IT OFFERS STUDENTS A CHANCE TO
COLLABORATE WITH ONE ANOTHER TO HELP WHEN THERE'S A PROBLEM.
IT ALSO PRESENTS THE CHANCE FOR THE TEACHER TO SEE WHAT AREA THE STUDENTS STRUGGLE IN.
