As a teacher at Bunger MS I have worked in a variety of different areas;
literacy, math, social studies, and science. During my time as a teacher
at Bunger I was able to move seamlessly between grade levels as student
needs demanded. I was willing to work with the administration and
grade level teams to ensure quality instruction for all students. I worked
closely with alike content teachers to ensure that all students received the
same level of instruction and that content was delivered according to
district and state standards.
August 1998-May 1999: West Middle School, Waterloo, IA, Teacher:
Worked as an instructional strategist for the district during the last year
of West MS. Helped transition the instruction to the new middle school
for the 1999-2000 school year when we began instruction in a new school.
August 1997-May 1998: Four Oaks, Independence, IA, Teacher: Worked
with a difficult population of students across multiple grade levels who
had been placed in this educational setting due to issues in the
community. Helped provide effective instruction to students as they
were also dealing with multiple personal difficulties. This instruction was
provided in a residential setting.
