North Korea
THE ABOLITION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN NORTH KOREA
The Security Council and General Assembly,
Having studied that North Korea has dropped out of the NPT and tested their first nuclear
missile underground resulting in small amounts of radiation seeping out,
Keeping in mind that North Korea has access to nuclear weapons that they could use at
any moment if they needed to forcing surrounding countries to be very cautious,
Taking into consideration that the past sanctions placed on North Korea have been
unsuccessful forcing for other actions,
Deeply concerned that North Korea have already tested (3) missiles and attempted to
strike U.S ships,
Following the second nuclear test, Pyongyang also conducted several missile tests,

according to the BSSA article, Yield Estimation of the 25 May 2009 North Korean
Nuclear Explosion,
Fully aware that any bad move made by the U.S or their allies, North Korea could launch
an attack at any time, even though they couldnt hit the U.S they could easily hit South
Korea or Japan with a simple strike,
Believing that North Korea and their allies are capable of developing nuclear weapons as
well as using them so we need take extreme measures to keep them from launching
missiles,
Recognizing that placing another sanction on North Korea will not stop them from
making even more nuclear weapons, We believe we should take bigger steps and try
forcing them to stop,

1. Encourages the United Nations to take the following resolution of abolishing all
nuclear weapons in North Korea without any production into account;

2. Noting that the resolution would keep us from another world war, because if the U.S
and their allies didnt have nuclear weapons then North Korea wouldnt need them,
neither would their enemies;
3. Reminds that North Korea would be weak and vulnerable without nuclear weapons in
return we could give them protection:
a. With extra military power there would be no need for anymore
nuclear weapons or protection, leading to a closer partnership between North
Korea and other countries;
4. Welcomes North Korea to join the United Nations to discuss the resolution between
the countries who wish to be included;
5. Encourages North Korea to give up their nuclear weapons if they are holding them
just for protection, the protection from many countries would be a bigger help than
nuclear warheads;
6. With no nuclear weapons there would be no massive war with a huge demolition of
countries, but with nuclear weapons if one nuclear strike was launched the world and
North Korea would be gone in a day;
7. With this resolution the world would be much more friendly, yes there would still be
wars but they would be much less destructive;
8. With the ban on nuclear weapons in North Korea there would be a nice break but then
there would be the need to focus on other missiles
