Activities:
Social/Emotional
I would put on a readers theater where the kids read a book and then get to act out
each character. Because Tristen loves to be social and in the spotlight this would be
perfect for him to shine and it would give him the opportunity to act a little silly and
not get in trouble like he usually does
Physical
I would maybe try yoga with him because he does like to be active and move and so
trying all of the positions in yoga would be challenging for him but he would
probably excel and love trying them out to see if he is able.
Cognitive
For Tristen, he is very smart, he just has trouble concentrating so I would try and
give him some one on one time with either the teacher or helper so he can stay on
task
Creative
Something with finger painting or playing with shaving cream because he loves
hands on activities. I would tie it into something academic whether it was sight
words, math or writing so that he is learning as well
Language
I would give him more opportunities to write because he is already such an
awesome speaker, that start getting him ready to write and be a better writer.
