Orchestras with more than 330 orchestras taking part.

With the majority of

orchestras coming from Germany this event, which is held every three years,
attracts in excess of 30,000 people to Innsbruck.
This is the third time for the Castletown Accordion Orchestra to represent Ireland at

Chilton, will compete in the Under 21s section: and the Senior Orchestra, which I
lead, will compete in the Adult Section. We are all very excited to be playing at this
prestigious world music event and hope we perform to the best of our ability and
make Ireland proud.

College in Nobber, Co. Meath every Friday from 5pm to 9.30 pm and in preparation
for the World Accordion Festival they also rehearse on Sundays from 11am to 2pm
