(OPEN SHOW) Information and Entry Rules Show: Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Beaumont Civic Center, 550 East 6th Street, Beaumont, CA 92223 Media for Judging: Oils, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Fine Porcelain, Drawing, Fabric Art/ Needlework, Sculpture, Photography, Mixed Media, Jewelry, and Miscellaneous Entry Forms and Art Work Delivery: Members will pick up entry forms at the Pass Artists meetings. Non- members can obtain entry forms and information by calling 951-769-9354 or Emailing jjburke92220@aol.com. Entry forms must be received by March 19, 2015. Art work for the show plus I.D. forms, filled out completely, will be accepted on Thursday, April, 9, 2015 at the Beaumont Civic Center. Those whose last names begin with A to M check in from 10:00 to 12:00, N to Z from12:00 to 2:00 P.M. On framed artwork one I.D. label must be securely attached to the back of the frame on the upper right hand side. You may enter up to four works of art. All work must be of such a nature as not to offend the sensibilities of the public. Entry Fee: There is an entry fee of $7.00 per work of art for PAA members and $10.00 for non-members. Please make checks payable to The Pass Artists Association. Fee must accompany entry form. Preparation: All paintings must be gallery framed and securely wired (no saw tooth hangers). Works must be priced, or marked NFS (not for sale) on your entry and I.D. forms. Gallery wrapped canvas is OK. No wet paintings can be allowed. Watercolors, drawings, and photography must be under glass or similar material. Personal lighting and appropriate extension cords can be used. Most of the artwork may be displayed on tables. So please bring table easels for your work. If you have extra table easels, or standing easels, they will be most welcome. For paintings over 24 x 30 bring your own standing easel. Awards: First, second, and third place awards plus honorable mentions will be given in each media. There will also be Best of Show and Popular Vote awards. Cash awards will be available. Categories having less than three people entering will not be judged. An award ceremony will be held from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. on the day of the show. Winners will be shown at the Banning Art Gallery during April and May 2015. Artwork Pickup: Art Work is to be taken away after the end of the show at 4:00 p.m. Liability: Participants in this art show must agree to assume all risk or damage to their art work. The Pass Artists Association and the Beaumont Civic Center will take all reasonable precautions to protect the items listed on your entry form, but will not be financially liable for any loss or damage connected with participation in this activity. Participants also agree to permit the taking of photographs of themselves or their art work by the art association or local newspapers.
