FADE IN:
EXT. DESERT HIGHWAY - DAY
A steaming concrete road. The BLAZING SUN crests at the peak
of a hill. HEAT MIRAGES squiggle against the sky. Its quiet.
The silhouette of a Man on a Harley, well call him THE
RIDER, drives into frame. The Rider and his steel horse move
past CAMERA.
A BLACK CARGO VAN follows, passengers unseen.
The HARLEYS ENGINE blasts -- On a WIDER LENS, reveal the
highway amidst the giant RED ROCKS of Arizona.

The HORN OF A TRUCK blasts and the MIBs turn their attention
forward. Roaring towards them is a speeding MAC TRUCK. The
van swerves back into its appropriate lane just barely
missing the truck. The SUN BEGINS TO SET.
EXT. DESERT HIGHWAY - DUSK
EXTREME WIDE of the landscape. The Harley and van are
miniatures against the majestic Red Rocks. The faint sound of
the trucks HORN curses the reckless van driver.
The Harley takes a sharp turn around a bend losing the van
momentarily. The Rider spots an opening to a dirt road. Cuts
hard across both lanes. The Harley leaps into the air and
lands on the path, ROARS kicking up dust in its wake.
The van speeds down the dirt road. HIGH BEAMS illuminate The
Rider. Passenger MIB leans out the window and fires at the
Harley -- GREEN LASER BEAMS blast -- rapid fire.
The Rider swerves dodging the beams. Fixed to the Harleys
handlebars rests a SMALL CROSSBOW, attached to a sheath-like
clip that holds it in place. The Rider detaches the CROSSBOW.
Aims behind him and shoots ARROWS at the van.
An ARROW strokes the vans headlight. Another arrow flies by
the head of passenger MIB leaning out the window, barely
missing him.
The MIB fires back with the space gun -- The crossbow is shot
out of The Riders hand.
The van speeds with no headlights. The Passenger MIB opens
the glove box and retrieves a METAL GRENADE IN THE SHAPE OF
AN EGG. He presses a button on the grenades apex and arms
it. A small red light FLASHES & BEEPS...a countdown.
The Harleys GASLIGHT turns on...as a last resort The Rider
presses a RED BUTTON near the throttle. From the rear of the
Harley fly out ROAD SPIKES. The van drives right over the
spikes exploding the tires instantly.
The van comes to a SCREECHING stop. The egg-shaped grenade
drops underneath the front passenger seat. The Passenger MIB
calmly reaches underneath the seat to retrieve it.
ANGLE UNDER SEAT: The cold white hand of the MIB feels around
for the grenade. BEEPING & FLASHING RED LIGHT increasing...
The MIB Driver looks on quiet and calms. The Passenger MIB
grabs hold of the grenade and presses the button on the apex.
The grenade is disarmed just in the nick of time.

EXT. DIRT ROAD - CONTINUOUS
The Rider drives on a few hundred yards before stopping. He
removes his helmet and reveals his identity:
He is CHEVY POLLACA (pronounced like Chevy Chase) a rugged
Native American Man with long black hair, 45, with a worn
face, a tortured soul.
Chevy stares at the van, rendered useless. He puts his helmet
on the rear seat and drives off into the night.
EXT. DIRT ROAD - OUTSIDE VAN - SAME
The MIBs step out of the black van. The Driver pulls an
arrow from the left headlight, inspects it. The arrow head is
metallic, engraved with the symbol of a HOPI HAND.
The MIB touches the tip of the arrowhead and it BURNS HIS
FINGER -- SIZZLES. The MIB flings the arrow hard into the
dirt so that it sticks.
LOW ANGLE: With the sticking arrow in the f.g. The MIBs walk
off into the night and disappear.

and inspects his name tag, star-shaped and reads: Bruno.
From his other pocket he grabs a small leather pouch
