The tachometer displays the incorrect engine

speed (RPM)
Background
After some time the tachometer begins
displaying engine speeds as too low. The
calibration potentiometer has changed because
of the vibration in the instrument panel.

Remedy
The supplier has corrected this problem by
securing the calibration potentiometer with
paint.
