From the Rights and Responsibility Handbook - Scholastic dishonesty
that includes, but is not limited to, cheating on school assignments or tests, plagiarism or collusion is prohibited. Academic consequences will be assigned as follows. While being dishonest with school work is not to be tolerated, we realize that students do make mistakes and we believe one mistake should be considered a teachable moment. First Offense Student must re-do test or assignment. If they fail to do this, there will be an assigned score of zero. The re-done assignment will be graded and the student may earn no higher than a C-. The student will also be assigned a half day to Pathways. However, the first offense will not be put on the students academic record. Second Offense (follows Rights & Responsibilities Handbook, 1st offense) Student is given a one day suspension (put on the students permanent academic record, recorded to the state) and the assignment or test is given an automatic score of zero with no chance to re-do the work.
