social, and economic equality to men.
Feminism (human definition)
The belief of women having equal rights in all facets of social
life.

How Is Feminism Seen

1. The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It
is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that
encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children,
practice witchcraft,destroy capitalism,and become lesbians.
-Unknown
Basically, some believe that feminists are crazy lesbian
women who practice violent acts and attempt to ruin the
government.

Objective
Our objective is to educate the Blackstone community on
what being a feminist means and what they support.
Facing History feels like being feminist is something thats
scorned because of the stereotypes society has placed along with
its name. But in reality, being a feminist is being able to think of
a world where men and women are equal. However, Just like
racial inequality, some people refuse to believe that gender
inequality is non-existent.

Reason for Video

Facing History chose to show this video because it
portrays almost every stereotypes that exists towards
feminists. The men interviewed in this video say that
feminists are basically evil women trying to take over the
world. As a school, we find that thoughts like these should
be altered. Because just like every stereotype type, there
are more lies than truth.

If womens roles in Ads were played

with men.
This video shows
female roles being
played by men. The fact
that seeing men this
way is strange but
seeing women this way
isnt, shows that we are
truly behind from racial
equality.

Video Explanation
We as the facing history class chose the Ads video
because we thought that this video would be a great visual
representation on how people now see women compared
to men.

Run like a girl

This video shows
that being called a
girl shouldnt be
disempowering, but
girls should be proud
of themselves.

Video Explanation
Like a girl was made to show that some
females themselves believe in the stereotypes
made about them.

Why Im a feminist
This video
questions the
stereotypes forced
upon Feminists.

Video Explanation
We chose the "why I'm a feminist" because she
states statistics on stereotypes and why she's
a feminist. She sends a clear message and
doesn't sugar coat anything.

BACS Version of Like A Girl
