PROFILE
I am a teacher leader who enjoys working with others to make our school the
best possible educational experience with high outcomes for students. I
continually seek out professional development, and am working on my
Initial Administrator License. I am seeking an administrative position in a
school setting.

2002-present
Currently teaching 5th grade at Pioneer School, have past experience in
grades 3, 4, and 5 in self-contained classrooms.
Responsible for year long, unit, and daily lesson planning with objectives
tied to standards. Responsible for assessing students and using data to
create intervention groups. Responsible to communicate to parents and
work with other professionals at the school and district level.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE:
Teacher Leader of 5th Grade Professional Learning Team 2014-15
Plan and facilitate monthly professional development.
Planning team for New Teacher Academy 2014
Plan 3 days of professional development for new teachers. Lead 40
new teachers in a session on Student Engagement.
Common Core District Implementation Team 2013-14
Create common assessments for all schools in the district using the
Common Core and Smarter Balanced Assessment. Develop and
provide professional development involving Common Core standards
and Smarter Balanced Assessment.

Coached 4 elementary teachers from various schools in the creation
of a teaching portfolio that included a question to be investigated
