FfD Regional Consultation in Addis Ababa March 24

For those of you who will be in Addis next week, here is information from UNECA regarding a slot that
Tax Justice Network-Africa (TJN-A), Third World Network Africa (TWN-Africa) and AFRODAD will be
conducting on March 24, 2015 in Addis Ababa.
As part of the Regional Consultation towards the Third International Conference on Financing for
Development, March 23-24, 2015, the Economic Commission for Africa and its partners will be hosting an
open Civil Society Engagement session scheduled for 14:00-15:00hrs, 24th March 2015 at the UNCC,
Addis Ababa.
The purpose of this session is to:
Progress discussions on priorities for development finance from regional CSO perspectives;
Distil key issues and challenges for consideration by member State representatives; and
Gather views on wider issues including processes, linkages with other intergovernmental processes and
follow-up mechanisms.
The Session will include statements from CSO representatives followed by an open discussion.

TJN-A will present the CSO common submission; TWN-Africa and AFRODAD present on investment &
