Purpose: The children will be participating in a gross motor activity involving a
physical activity cube.
Domain Goals: This activity is important in terms of

large muscles to do the
actions that the cube says.

children will be able to pick
up and toss the cube to see
which action to do.

Clean carpet to do the activity

Preparation:
Bring in the Physical Activity Cube
Make sure the carpet is clean and ready to do our activity
Set-up: While the children are having snack I will get the carpet clean. During free
play/play time is when I will do my activity.
Procedure:
Motivation: I will ask the children Who wants to play a game? which will be
inviting whoever wants to play.
Implementation:
After ask/inviting the children over I will tell the children what I have and
show them what to do
Conclusions: After my activity is finished I will ask the children questions like
Who liked the Physical Activity Cube?
Which activity was your favorite?
I will then leave out my Physical Activity Cube for the children to play with.
